B&B HOTEL Deauville-Touques

The location is the one downside, though having a car made it no problem for us. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, and enjoyed the breakfast. For the price, it’s a great value.

The first welcome at reception was a little frosty, and we weren’t told when breakfast was or given any WiFi information. When we saw the same person later, though, he was friendlier and warmer. The hotel is modern, with a comfortable bed and pillows and excellent facilities. We had a very good overnight stay.

Getting here from the airport was a real challenge. Staff at CDG airport didn’t know where the hotel was, and once I got the right directions, the walk from the train station was long and poorly marked. It’s tucked behind several other hotels, with a badly marked entrance on the far side. The room itself was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, and I’d stay at another hotel in this chain. I was surprised there wasn’t a coffee or tea machine in the room, something even cheaper hotels often have.

The bed was huge and really comfortable, and the shower was gorgeous. I loved the rooms, the staff, and the location, with shops and restaurants easy to reach. A perfect hotel!
