A simple, no-frills place, but clean and comfortable, with a nice bed. The motel-style setup means secure parking right outside your room. Just right for a rest on the way to the slopes.

The cleaning was amazing, and the room had plenty of space in the private car park behind the hotel. I stayed four days to see the region by car and bike. The city centre is an easy short walk away.

There wasn't an evening meal available, and on a Saturday night it was hard to find a nearby restaurant with a free table. The owner did her best to help us find something that suited us, but unfortunately couldn't manage it.

We'd absolutely come back. It's a quirky little hotel with small rooms that are fully functional, though they have no windows. A patio-style door lets in light and air. There's a great pool for cooling off and plenty of room for a picnic dinner. Nearby, we found several good local supermarkets and a few cheaper places to eat. A fantastic stop on the way south.

The little rooms were comfortable, and the service was great. Everyone was very kind.
