The courtyard facing room on the third floor was quiet, with blackout curtains, a firm bed and lovely pillows. It was small, but plenty for me on my own, and everything was clean and well kept. The hotel sits on a peaceful street in Tours, with Cathedral Saint Gatien on the same street and La Gare and Le vieux Tours close by. I had no parking trouble with my rental car thanks to the little courtyard. The staff were amazing, and the manager was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely return to Hôtel Du Manoir when I’m next in Tours. 👍🏼💋

Wilfred was a wonderful host, and the breakfast was delicious each morning. We had everything we needed in the clean room for our short stay, including comfortable beds, and the location was quiet. It’s close to the train station, restaurants and shops. Wilfred even brought us an electric kettle and two cups for evening herbal tea. Nothing was lacking. I’d highly recommend it if you’re after a clean, quiet place in the area.

The car is parked off the road behind a locked barrier, which felt reassuring. There isn’t much space for a big vehicle like an Audi Q7, but we managed to squeeze in. A lovely little boutique hotel, close to the centre of Tours. Our room was small but cozy.

We were in the attic during a heatwave, maybe 37 degrees, but the fans meant we actually slept pretty well. The owner was great, and although breakfast seemed expensive, it kept us going until evening, so it was worth it. The area was peaceful enough to sleep with the windows wide open. The beautiful cathedrale was just a couple minutes away, with some really nice bars nearby. The road into the town centre from the cathédrale has the most amazing shops...

It has an old-fashioned look, which adds to the hotel’s charm. Lots of restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and the central station is about ten minutes away on foot.
