We had a relaxed meal out in the garden, and the lamb chops were cooked just right. What more could you ask for?

La Demeure d'Eirene j'aime. The room was quiet, roomy, comfortable, and clean. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Hard to find anything not to like.

Breakfast comes with the price and has a good variety, and the rooms are fairly spacious. It’s a well-kept old bourgeois house that can host quite a lot of people, less than a five-minute walk from the city center. I’m seriously thinking of booking this guesthouse again on my next trip to Troyes instead of staying in a hotel, even though it’s right in the heart of the city. A great find!
