We spent three nights here as we began the Camino. It’s a 15-minute walk into town, which is especially nice after a great dinner. The hosts are friendly and kind, the breakfast is great, with homemade jams and yogurt plus fresh bread and croissants from the bakery each morning. We met people from around the world, and got amazing restaurant recommendations.

I spent two nights at Maison Joangi and loved it. The farmhouse renovation is splendid, with a simple but elegant, charming and peaceful feel. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms modern. Jean was a kind, gentle host. A perfect place to begin the Camino de Santiago.

Jean was very welcoming and kindly drove us to and from the station. The place is clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with town within walking distance. You get a quiet retreat as well as the busy town. The setting is picturesque, among the hills, with a branch of the R Nive stream flowing below.
