Eliot and Anthony were especially helpful, including with organizing activities during our trip. The staff took great care of us. We stayed in a comfortable, well maintained apartment and had an exceptional visit. We'd happily return.

On a sunny day, don't miss a seat on the terrace for the views. I had lunch there twice and loved both meals. The burger savoyard was great, and the linguini truffle was even better. The food and service were amazing.

The bus boys were cool, but the receptionist service at the restaurant was terrible. They were aggressive, hostile and unfriendly, and seemed not to want international guests. If you don't speak French, they treat you badly.

Being mid-mountain meant we could make first tracks each morning when the piste opened, and having Oxygene rentals onsite was extremely convenient. This was our second stay at Le Refuge, and the room, staff and service were all wonderful. The only small drawback was having to eat onsite every evening. By the end of the week we'd worked through the dinner menu and wanted more choices, though the options we had were still excellent. We'd absolutely stay again, 10/10.

We sat outside in a lovely sunny spot. The meat and fish were great, though the chips were average.
