Hotel Le Val d'Isere

We had a great holiday stay. The hotel was very clean and well organized, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. We loved the spa services, and the central location can't be beat. It's dog friendly too!

It really feels like a home away from home now. The location is so convenient, right on the main square and only a few meters' walk from the slopes. The rooms are newly renovated and beautifully decorated, though a bit small, which is how it is in the Alps. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and the continuous lunch-to-dinner service is a rare find in France. The spa services are excellent, and there's a nice pool and sauna. I hope the octopus makes it back onto the winter menu 🥲

We got married in ValDisere and had stayed here before, so we recommended it to our guests. Sadly, our family and friends came away with so many disappointing stories about terrible service. We checked in as a couple for a weekend after the wedding and had to change rooms three times because of water leaks and noise. Staff never helped when we were moved. After the last move, we reported another leak, then found a bag missing from the new room. I eventually found it myself in their staff room with the dirty sheets. The location is great and the rooms are cool, though most have only showers and there's town noise. Better service might redeem the place.

We found this place after a nightmare at our original hotel, which was like walking into a derelict building. This hotel had one room left for the week, and the staff were polite and helped us with everything, including arranging an early taxi to the bus station. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities you need, even if you're bringing non-skiers. Thanks to everyone, we hope to come back.
