The receptionist was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel is close to the motorway, has lots of parking, and the rooms are clean, so it’s a great overnight stop. The restaurant looks very nice, and there’s a huge Auchan hypermarket next door for a bit of shopping before heading back on the road.

This was our second time booking a family room here. The service is exceptionally good. If there’s a problem, they sort it out within a minute to make you comfortable. Check-in is available 24 hours.

The facilities were good, with a nice bar, pool, outdoor terrace, and restaurant. The food was okay, and the room and bed were comfortable. I requested a ground-floor room because I have limited mobility, and they gave me one. But there was no handrail for the three steps to the room or the toilets. I found those steps very difficult, especially while carrying bags. A handrail is needed.

The hotel, rooms, and reception were fine, but the restaurant was terrible. The waiters and kitchen seemed understaffed, the food was burned, and we had to wait a very long time. People at other tables even left because of the poor service and delays.

The hotel, rooms, staff, and location were all okay. I paid my bill in full and continued my vacation. Almost a week later, I got a call and an email asking me to pay an extra bar bill because there had apparently been some dispute. We hadn’t had any discussion, and by then there was no way to check what had gone wrong. This wasn’t the service I expected. Being treated as if I hadn’t paid is poor customer service. KR Dieter
