Résidence Hôtel de Bressac

We slept well, even though the hotel is right in the old town among lots of good bars and restaurants. The decor and breakfast were lovely, and the team was friendly and professional. A really comfortable stay in a great central spot.

There are shops, cafes and plenty of restaurants just a few minutes away on foot. The proprietor was helpful and offered suggestions for places to try. We stayed in a huge room in an old house that's been beautifully renovated while still keeping its age and character. Finding it can be tricky, since it's tucked discreetly behind a large wooden gate (see pic).

The owners make a fantastic breakfast, with Pain au Levin freshly made. The rooms are huge, clean and full of character, and the place itself is totally charming and unique.

The room was large, and both the location and parking were good. But it wasn't clean, the property was under construction, and the pool couldn't be used. The service didn't feel professional either. Far too expensive for what we got.
