We appreciated the location and the warm hospitality.

We came back from the restaurant that evening, and when I turned the key in the lock, it broke. It had happened before: when we arrived, that key wasn't even on the room's keyring because the previous guest had run into the same problem. Anaïs accused me of hiding what had happened and demanded €20 for the key. I calmly said I'd help get it out, since my fingernails weren't enough, and she had tools. I ended up on my knees in the entryway removing it myself while she went off to photograph my car and tell her partner that we wouldn't be sleeping there if the key stayed stuck. Thankfully, it came out, and thanks to her companion for bringing the right pliers. The next morning, we thought it was all behind us, but we couldn't have breakfast unless we paid for the key. The place itself is pleasant, but Anaïs was a terrible host. We were practically thrown out, and the stay left a bitter taste. At €125 a night without breakfast, it was expensive to be treated that way.

We didn't get to enjoy the place for long. Anais gave us a main entrance key so we could go to dinner and come back without disturbing anyone. It was meant to be on the room keyring, but the previous one had broken. When my friend tried to open the door, this key broke in the lock. A few minutes later Anais came downstairs, apparently to check and lock the door, and saw what had happened. She verbally attacked my friend, accusing her of trying to hide it. She demanded that we remove the key or pay €300 to replace the lock, even though it was past 11 pm, plus €20 for the key. She was extremely agitated and told her partner that she'd throw us out if we wouldn't pay. It was outrageous. She eventually left, and we didn't see her again. Her partner was there, though, and we appreciated how calm and understanding he was. We managed to get the key out ourselves quite quickly and went to bed. In the morning, her partner told us, on Anaïs's instructions while she was absent, that if we wouldn't pay €20 for the key, we couldn't have breakfast and had to leave. What a way to end what had been a wonderful night, being kicked out over this. We were also accused of not cooperating, even though we'd removed the key ourselves, and told we were lucky to have been allowed to stay the night. This behavior was unacceptable and unworthy of a room costing €125 a night. Reading other travelers' comments, it seems we weren't the only ones. The place is otherwise beautiful, but we're truly disappointed with how it all turned out and don't recommend it.
