The host was fantastic, and the service stayed excellent throughout the week. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful every day. Our spacious room was very clean, and fresh linen was available on request. The hotel is a short three minute walk from the ski lift, so it's great value. There's a separate ski store outside, which saves you from carrying all your gear up and down the stairs to your room each time. We were a group of 10 and would definitely book again on our next visit to Vars.

For a warmhearted week with friends and family, this is a lovely choice. Beatrice and Jose bring Portuguese hospitality right into the heart of the French Alps.

The breakfasts were a pure moment of bliss, a lovely way to start the day. We felt at ease from the very first moment in this warm, soothing place. It almost felt like home, and we never wanted to leave. The owner was exceptionally kind, attentive and caring. This is somewhere that'll stay in your heart. I recommend it without hesitation.
