A lovely spot to spend a little time in Beaujolais. We really liked the easygoing atmosphere and the place's authentic feel, and the breakfast was delicious.

There's no shortage of climbs through the forests around Beaujolais, whether you're out on a mountain bike or a road bike. We came for the wine and cycling, and Les Picorettes sits among the vines in an amazing landscape. Sophie and Stéphane are warm and welcoming, and the big dining room and kitchen where you can help yourself to coffee and beer make it feel like home. After a day on the bikes, a local wine tasting is a heavenly way to wind down.

We've always enjoyed spending a few days at Les Picorettes in beautiful Beaujolais. It's peaceful, surrounded by lovely nature, and there's good food and wine. The hosts are warm and welcoming, too. Just the place if that's what you're after.

Christian gave us a lovely welcome and was very hospitable, thank you. Our one-night stay at Les Picorettes was great: the room for four was spacious and clean, and the pool was beautiful, with a spectacular view over the Vaux en Beaujolais vineyards. Breakfast was plentiful too, with croissants, bread, fruit, jam, juice, yogurt, coffee, cheeses, and cured meats. Thanks again, and see you soon.
