Evancy Vence - Les Jardins d'Azur

We booked a room for six and found beds without sheets, blankets, or pillow covers. The bedding that did have covers had old blood smears, and there were hairs on the bed, likely from previous guests. The walls, ceiling, and floor were covered in squashed bugs. We couldn't reach anyone to get the extra sheets we needed, and there was no warm water. It was very hot while we were there, but warm water still seems like a basic amenity. The setting was peaceful and the scenery was nice. You might save some money, but we learned our lesson. I'd spend the extra euros somewhere nicer. Wouldn't recommend. Peace ✌️

A peaceful place with lovely grounds. The rooms are well equipped and have very nice terraces.

We stayed 11 nights and were glad we chose this cozy hotel. The location is really good if you have a car, which you'll need. The rooms are very good, though storage space is a bit awkward. It's mostly self-service, so you'll need to buy your own food, drinks, ice cream, and dishwashing supplies. That worked fine for us since we're used to it, but if you expect staff to take care of things, this may not be the place for you. Parking just outside the hotel costs extra. We'll come again.

The gardens and pool area are lovely, and most apartments have spectacular views over the hills and pool. I stayed at the residence for a short business trip and really enjoyed its location. Just bear in mind that it's serviced apartments, not a hotel.
