La Maison du Frene

We've stayed in half a dozen villages around Nice, but this place keeps bringing us back. It's our third visit, and we've already booked another. The location is ideal, the rooms are distinctive and super comfortable, and the hosts are charming. There are some tourists, sure, but they don't take away from the town's character. A lovely spot for enjoying the region's spirit.

Right in the center of the Village, this is a cozy, quirky place with rooms that have real personality. Ours was spacious and well equipped. The hosts are super nice, and clearly passionate and proud of their place. The place to stay in Vence!

Antoin and his dad, the owners, were so kind and caring. They shared lots of details, tips, and help, let us check in early, carried our bags, and explained where to park and how to enjoy the region. The breakfasts were amazing too. We loved the magical rooms and the detailed artwork all around the place. It's a gorgeous family-run place with five rooms, or you could call them apartments, and we'd love to return and experience it again. Thank you all.

Vence was a delightful surprise for us, and we fully intend to come back. We had a great stay at this friendly, small family-run hotel. Antoine and Thierry were perfect hosts, the beds were comfortable, the rooms quiet, and breakfast was good. They also had lots of recommendations for local restaurants and artists.
