The room was large, very clean and nicely decorated, with a welcome tray and useful things like a refrigerator, microwave and other equipment. There’s no freezer, and I didn’t hear the railway. The location worked well for us: two minutes by car from the town centre, or a short walk, with parking nearby. We were satisfied overall, but breakfast was a letdown. This is a bed and breakfast with no host around, which is a shame because that’s usually part of the experience, and the host wasn’t very available. Breakfast came on a small table with stale orange juice and no bread, which is a basic requirement in France. Also, the bed or box spring creaks constantly whenever someone sits down or turns over, even during the night. It really needs replacing; the noise is very annoying.

The neighborhood is charming and so quiet, and the host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was spacious and spotless. Thanks so much, Waldek.

It’s about a 20-minute walk to the cathedral. The place is really clean and furnished in a modern style, and we highly recommend it. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and cutlery, an oven, microwave, Lavazza capsule coffee machine and electric stove.
