The restaurant's set menu was fantastic, straightforward food without any molecular cuisine fuss. I was here for work, but plan to return with my family. The traditional building is well cared for, and the service felt warm and personal while staying very polite. It's charming in its own way, and worth a detour.

The rooms each have their own theme and air conditioning, and there's a swimming pool. Because of covid, the restaurant had restrictions, but they brought us a lovely cold plate instead. Front desk service was good, and the overnight stay wasn't too expensive. There's also a lovely medieval village to visit, though be ready for a climb if you go.

The hotel was great too, with simple, clean rooms and a really friendly, helpful hostess. But the restaurant is the reason to go, absolutely fantastic.
