Nigel and Julie gave us such a warm welcome at their Walnut cottage, and they were wonderfully helpful and hospitable throughout. The house had everything we needed. It's in a beautiful, quiet setting, and it was perfect for our 11-month-old son too. From there, we could easily visit Le Mont Saint Michel, the D-Day beaches, and the cider route. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

We felt right at home in the cottage for our wonderful week. The kitchen was fully stocked, and you really don't need to bring anything from home, even milk was waiting in the fridge. Thanks, Nigel and Julie, for being so hospitable. We hope to see you again. It's a lovely rural spot, while still being well placed for exploring Normandy. Within an hour's drive in different directions, there's lots to see, and Vire is just a few minutes away for groceries and restaurants. The Friday market is worth a visit too. Just go, you won't regret it. Moon andVera
