The room was unbearably hot, with no air conditioning, and the bathroom had no shower gel or other toiletries. When we asked, we were told to bring our own because they don’t provide any. Check-in was another mess: it’s available for just three and a half hours a day, until 20:30, with no warning beforehand and no one answering the phone to explain whether self-check-in would work. A machine happened to be working, but relying on luck like that is ridiculous. We’d booked an overnight family stop after a long drive, and the price was outrageous even for holiday season. Avoid this place.

The staff were really friendly, and the room was clean, with a good bed and easy parking. Breakfast was nice too. It’s handy for a long drive, and you can use the machine to check in after 21:00. The hotel itself is reasonably quiet. With the windows shut, the only outside noise, from the motorway, wasn’t audible to me, though people need fresh air. That’s a problem here: ventilation was very disappointing. Even with the shower fan on and the window partly open, CO2 stayed above 1,000, and the tiny vent didn’t bring in enough fresh air. The decor is dated and could use some renovation.

The room had a lovely view, and it was clean with great service. We had a room with three single beds and really liked it. We drove there from the airport in a rental car without any trouble. The hotel is outside Lyon but easy to reach by car.

We had to leave the doors and windows open for more than two hours to clear the strong chemical smell from the spray used in the rooms. The beds were okay for a night.

The room smelled awful. They have smoking rooms, but that isn’t mentioned when you make a reservation. Really disgusting!
