Chateau Gîte "Chateau du Denacre" Côte d'Opale

Roxane was so attentive and flexible, and she made our dreams for the wedding come true. She was incredibly kind and available, and I can't thank her enough. She clearly cares deeply about the castle and knows its whole history, which she tells with real passion. It feels like she owns the place out of love for it, not for business, and I find that admirable. We were incredibly lucky to get married in this magical, timeless setting. The rooms were ultra-comfortable, the natural surroundings were a haven, and the atmosphere made it feel as if time stood still. It was beyond anything we'd imagined. We're already hoping for another lovely chance to relive a weekend there.

I haven't had a chance to stay at the château, but the setting is breathtaking. There's a park full of remarkable trees, with the Denacre River running along the bottom of the Denacre Valley. The welcome was perfect, and the château itself is splendid.

We chose Château du Denacre for our wedding, and Roxane was incredible, so kind, attentive and generous. From our first meeting, it felt clear our day would be a success. It's an exceptional setting, and the gîte would also be perfect for a peaceful Christmas or time with friends or family. Highly recommended, go for it!

We came as a team of eight for a team-building weekend, and Roxane gave us a short tour of the grounds, with anecdotes and mysteries about the castle. Hearing some of its history was a real bonus. The castle itself is magnificent, clean, fully functional and decorated with a lovely mix of modern and antique styles. The grounds are stunning, and the place felt like a complete change of scenery. Huge thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.
