We had a lovely modern room with a breakfast table, TV and tea and coffee facilities, plus an upstairs room with two skylights for ventilation. The downstairs back door opened onto an orchard where we could sit outside and watch about half a dozen big, healthy-looking chickens wandering around. Breakfast was great, with two perfectly cooked boiled eggs. Finding the place took a while because our address said Domaine de la Ronville while the sign said Gites de la Ronville. After that, though, everything was faultless. Our host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. He offered to book a table at a restaurant of our choice, and after I struggled to do it myself, I took him up on it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and its surroundings were both beautiful, the hosts were warm and helpful, and breakfast was delicious.

The B&B is beautiful, clean and very well appointed. I wasn't keen on the downstairs bathroom, or the separate toilet that had no handwashing facilities.

The owner, Francis, is a real gentleman, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. He was always chatty whenever we saw him. We had a lovely week in April in one of the holiday cottages. It was immaculate, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. We can't fault our stay and would certainly come again.

It's a peaceful, very pleasant place, with a lovely garden and an old-fashioned house that's been renovated beautifully. The kitchen and living room are well equipped. The owner, a true northerner, is very friendly and always ready to help.
