Les Tilleuls

The cottage sits just by Wissembourg's ramparts, with a little stream nearby and views of the pink granite walls. You can step straight onto walking trails, and the town, its history, and shops are close by. The Tourist Office is nearby as well, and the owners are happy to share what they know about the town, its sights, its past, and the natural surroundings. It feels easy to settle in here. Flowers and birds greet you at the little gate, the decor is thoughtful and tasteful, and there's a sunny, private terrace tucked away on the first floor at rooftop level. With the linden trees overhead, the soft water sounds, and birdsong, it's a lovely place to unpack and unwind. Wissembourg itself has history stretching from the 11th century to today, with distinctive architecture and a strong religious heritage tied to its abbey. Thanks to the owners for making their temporary tenants feel like guests at home. Hats off! 👍

The place had everything I needed, and the value for money was a perfect 10. I rarely have such a wonderful few days.

Comfortable beds, Wi-Fi that worked, a clean little apartment, and a kitchen with everything in it. The people were nice, too. Best place to stay in town.

A really cute little cottage, great for two, in a quiet spot close to the center of Wissembourg. We got a very friendly welcome and would happily come back.
