It was so peaceful here, and on a clear night the stars were incredible. The campsite is on a working farm, so there can be some rural noise, but it didn’t bother us. Pat and John were great hosts, and I’d highly recommend the place. From the site there’s a stunning view down the valley to Porth Meudwy, about a 20-minute walk along a path. The facilities are kept immaculate by John: toilets, sinks, showers, and a heated shower block. Showers take 20p for three minutes. There’s a small room to wash plates and pans, plus an on-site freezer you can use if you label your bag. Washing machines and tumble dryers are available for a small fee, I think about £3 per wash.

Such a beautiful spot to visit, with scenery to die for.

I stayed in my camper for three days and wish I could give it 10 stars instead of five. Pat and John are so friendly, and the toilet and shower block is really clean. The surrounding area is lovely for walking. I’ll definitely be back.

My family hadn’t been camping for years, and this was our first time back. What an amazing place. John and Pat were fantastic, really helpful hosts. The facilities were very good and clean, and the views are second to none. A great place to unwind. We’ll definitely return.
