A lovely hidden gem to come back to after skiing, and the spa was just what we wanted for relaxing. The rooms are nice and warm, though the bright outdoor lights were a nuisance. Luckily I had my eye mask. Don't eat at the restaurant, the paella was the worst I've ever had. Breakfast was good, although I had to ask because they'd left off the sausages and haggis. The food in the packed lunches was good too, but one day it took them 30 minutes just to take our choices. Some waiting staff were lovely, while others seemed not to care about guests.

The staff are admirable in the way they speak to guests, and Victoria, the masseuse, is out of this world. The food was wonderful too. Breakfast porridge was lovely, and do get a banana muffin. At dinner I ordered the tomahawk pork, which was absolutely divine and huge, I can't even describe it. The rooms were fabulous. We went as a Christmas present and prepaid everything to make the stay smooth. They overcharged me by £137, which annoyed me, but they sorted it swiftly. We'll be back this year.

Our two bed cottage was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The pool is small, but it was quiet while we were there, and the sauna and small jacuzzi were good too. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There are lovely walks nearby. We hope to return.

We booked half board so we wouldn't have to plan our meals, and were very glad we did. After a full morning hiking, we could relax at the hotel and have a drink on the terrace before dinner. The simple Scottish menu was good, honest and tasty, and we didn't find anything we disliked. Everyone made us feel looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Our spacious, clean room in the main hotel had a beautiful large tub, comfortable beds and lovely linen. We stayed two nights from Friday, and this was just the restorative escape from city life we needed, a great base for walking and switching off. Aberfeldy centre is a short walk away, with lovely gift and coffee shops. We've already booked another stay for the New Year. Thank you!
