I used to live nearby and this was my local. More than a decade later, it’s still a fantastic town centre pub. It’s dog friendly, and our latest meal was great, with every part cooked well. Compliments to the kitchen and to the friendly staff, who gave amazing service. We’ll definitely come back and would recommend it.

It was busy when we came for a Mother’s Day meal, but we managed to get a table. We’d heard the homemade pies were tasty, and the food was delicious and hot. Staff were friendly, and the pint of Guinness was good too ☺️. I’d definitely return.

The food downstairs was excellent, especially the ribs and brisket, and there was a great choice of craft beers. Our room was comfortable, with little noise from the busy bar above or the road. When we arrived around 5pm, all the few parking spaces were taken, but after we called the pub a staff member moved their car so we could park. We had a great night staying, eating, and drinking at The Brewery Tap, and would definitely stay again.

Parking in Abingdon is a real nightmare, which is why I scored the location low. The food here is excellent, and the staff are so welcoming and eager to help. There’s a great atmosphere too. We were there on quiz night; even though we didn’t join in, it wasn’t overwhelming. If you don’t mind walking, it’s worth a visit.

We go to the Tap often, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere, food and staff are always top notch. We happily recommend it whenever someone asks where to eat, especially for a roast. I can't think of anywhere better for one.
