MARINERS HOUSE - ALNMOUTH GROUND FLOOR Take a second look at the photos before booking, because some are misleading. The settees are badly worn and you nearly sink to the floor; the front curtains are torn, the cooking trays were filthy, and the beds were very hard. The bedrooms are extremely dark during the day, and the toaster looks decades old. There's mould around the bath and exposed plumbing in the main bathroom. I would have added photos, but there was no option. We told the owners about these problems and they ignored us. Skye’s cottages did little to help, saying the contract was with the owners. The owners showed no interest in our concerns. At Christmas I had to buy new cooking trays to feed my family because the existing ones were a serious health hazard. Don't be taken in by the pictures.
