Breakfast was delicious, and the room was spotless, spacious and lovely, with beautiful decor, a comfortable bed and a large shower room. We only stayed one night, but I’d definitely come again. Thank you, Shelly.

I’d expected to stay at the Schooner across the road, but had to leave, and Shelly took me in at the old Granary. She was a perfect hostess. The bed was good, cleanliness was tip top and breakfast was amazing. I even got to borrow the dog for a walk. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Shelly!

We spent two nights there back in June. Shelley and Kevin were really friendly and excellent hosts, and there were lots of tasty breakfast choices. The accommodation was excellent too. We’d happily stay again and would highly recommend it.

Shelley, the owner, is welcoming and knows the region well. Our room and en-suite were spotless and very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. It’s a short walk to the beautiful beach, with the Northumbria coast and towns easy to reach.

I was staying in the seaview apartment above, but had some lovely conversations when I ran into the owners of the granary. It’s a lovely place, close to the beach and a good base for sightseeing.
