The hosts were so friendly and kept in touch well before and during our stay, including suggesting nearby walks. Their traditional little house is just a few minutes on foot from Hawkshead.

We had a lovely stay with our little dog, who was welcome too 🐾. The owners are warm and very nice, and the house itself feels welcoming. It's a 17th-century property and part of the National Trust.
