The location is lovely, and the accommodation was both comfortable and beautifully decorated. Diane and Steve made us feel at home and really went the extra mile. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from, including local specialties. We’re heading home after a fantastic stay at Burnroy House, and can’t recommend it enough.

Diane catered carefully for nut and dairy allergies, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was great, with options for a lighter meal or a full Scottish breakfast, and the scrambled eggs were incredible. The B&B has lovely relaxing spaces, including the sunroom, lounge, and garden. Our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer. I’ve stayed at Burnroy House alone a couple of times and also with family and friends, including children. Every visit has been a pleasure, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. Diane and her two lovely labradoodles always make us feel welcome. The dogs are kept away at mealtimes, but the kids loved playing with them. It’s well placed between Aberdeen and Inverness, with forest walks nearby and beautiful beaches within easy reach. Lossiemouth is my favourite. There are good restaurants around too, and it’s right on the whisky trail. I couldn’t ask for a more relaxing break. I’ve already booked my next visit.

We had a brilliant four days at Burnroy House. I was there alone with my two kids, and the place was extremely child friendly, with a flexible setup and helpful tips on what to see and how to get there. The location also made it easy to reach the Whisky Trail and its many distilleries, the River Spey, lovely beaches, the Walkers' shortbread factory, and great hill walks. Thanks, Diane and Steve. We’d definitely recommend it.

After a full day out, the house and grounds were a relaxing place to come back to. The resident pups were fun to have around, and breakfast was delicious with lots of options tailored to us. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and the location gives reasonable access to the Whisky Trail, the Cairngorms, and Inverness.

Our dog was made very welcome, and the host was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and breakfast was very good. I’d recommend staying here.
