The Dog and Partridge Country Inn

We happened to pass by this morning and stopped for breakfast. So glad we did. The service was fabulous all the way through, and the breakfast was outstanding. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the food. A well-earned five-star breakfast. We'll be back!

We came for an Alton Towers trip and ended up having dinner here both nights. The food and service were excellent each time, with the d&p burgers cooked just right. My better half says the white chocolate and orange pudding was the best dessert she's ever had, and I had to order the bread and butter pudding again on our last night. That one's a 15/10. Breakfast was just as good. We paid extra for the cooked option on our first morning and had no complaints. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to a tidy, clean room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The double bed was really comfy too. Clean room, brilliant staff and excellent food. Can't fault the place.

A great stopover for Alton Towers, about 15 minutes away. We had a warm welcome, quiet and comfortable rooms, and fantastic home-cooked food. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

The room was cosy and spotless, and even had its own little Christmas tree. We also had a lovely view and a friendly welcome. Dinner one evening and a cheese board the next were both generous and excellent. We visited at the start of December and enjoyed it all. We’d love to come back when it’s warmer and make the most of what’s on offer.
