We spent a few nights at the Stables on Hawley Farm over February half term and loved our stay, even though we were sad to leave. The children enjoyed hearing the cows, spotting newborn lambs in the fields and making friends with the farm cat, who often came to visit. The cottage was spacious, thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. Pamela and Graham were fabulous hosts, and the scones waiting for us on arrival were a lovely treat.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. We worry whenever we take our adult disabled son on holiday because he can be noisy, but they were happy to have him and let him enjoy the trip in his own way. The accommodation was clean and fresh, with comfortable beds and sofas, a fantastic kitchen with everything needed, and charming surroundings. We loved this picturesque area, especially in autumn, and it's close to Devon, Dorset and Somerset. See you next year, Pamela and Graham!

Pamela was a very friendly host and even had a homemade cream tea ready for our arrival. We had a peaceful, comfortable stay and would definitely return to Hawley Farm. The Wagon House was spacious and well equipped, with a large king-size bedroom, a second good-sized double, and en-suites for both. The open-plan lounge and kitchen had comfy sofas and a smart TV, and looked out over a pretty courtyard with bird feeders, where we could watch and listen to the birds. There were plenty of lovely countryside walks straight from the farm, and Dalwood village with a pub was just a mile away for eating out without driving. There are other places nearby to explore by car, but we didn't use the car all weekend, which was wonderful.

The Cider Press was so cosy, and we loved the beautiful setting. Pamela and Graham were generous and accommodating, too.

We stayed at the Cider Press and it was perfect, with super-comfy beds. Sitting outside in the peaceful surroundings and watching the sheep and cows in the fields was lovely. Pamela and Graham made us feel so welcome during our wonderful two weeks at Hawley Farm. We're very much hoping to return to this truly beautiful part of the world.
