This was our second stay, and we’ll come back again. The room was clean, warm and airy, though on the small side. That wasn’t an issue for us since we only sleep there while on holiday. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. Good facilities, a decent-sized car park, and very good value. I’d certainly recommend it.

Room 10 had a perfect bed, a spacious shower and a TV of a decent size. Being right beside the train station made it easy to get to the town centre and Glasgow. Checkout by 10:30 at the latest felt a little early if you want a lie-in, but I still had a pleasant stay.

My husband and I initially called to book one night, then something came up and we rang back to make it five. The staff were friendly and really helpful getting that arranged. Our room was clean and warm, with a walk-in shower. Breakfast had lots of choice and there was plenty to eat. It felt very homely, and the owners were friendly and helpful too. Happy with our stay, and we’ll book again.

The room was comfortable enough, the food was first class, and the place was spotlessly clean. I especially liked the heated bathroom floor and the top sheet on the bed, which we hadn’t come across at our previous stays. It’s easy to park, and the bus and train links to Glasgow are handy, while Ayr’s central shops are close enough to reach by car. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

The manager was easy to find if we needed anything, and his wife worked hard to put on a beautiful breakfast each morning. I stayed Friday to Monday with my brother, sister-in-law and cousin. Our family room was spotless, towels were refreshed daily, and there were top-ups of tea, coffee and milk. Very comfortable and excellent value. We’ll be back next time we’re in Ayr.
