The owners were friendly and helpful, and the cottage was so peaceful despite being just a short walk from Ballater town centre. It was spotless and warm when we arrived, with a lovely one-bedroom setup and all the details thoughtfully taken care of.

We had a long weekend here with my partner last October. The cottages were clean and roomy, and the hosts made us feel welcome and were really helpful. Shops are close, and there are lots of lovely walks nearby. Thanks for a great stay!

Having a kitchenette made this feel much better than a hotel for us. We could make our own food, pick up fish and chips, or just have a cup of tea whenever we wanted. The place was very clean and comfortable, and it’s in a lovely village with a quiet spot to stay. We spent two nights at Glenernan in Ballater, just the two of us. We didn’t meet the owners because of covid, but the directions and check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. I’d recommend it.
