The staff we met were so pleasant and helpful, and our clean room had everything we needed. We spent three lovely nights here, enjoying tasty evening meals and drinks at the bar. Breakfast had an incredible choice and was very good too. Highly recommend this place. Canadians Bob and Sandy.

The stunning location deserves a better hotel. This place is very shabby and definitely not 4 star. Our room was dated, with stained furniture and a small double bed, and it needed painting. The food was average and pricey, including a £9.95 cheese and ham sandwich that definitely wasn't premium. They called to cancel our booking.com trip, saying we'd booked the wrong room because we had a dog. From the reviews and other guests, this seems to happen regularly. Some staff were friendly, but had to get the owners' permission for everything. If we'd found another hotel with vacancies nearby, we wouldn't have stayed the night.

Brilliant stay. The rooms were finished to a high standard, and the staff made room for our group when we arrived late for dinner. Manager Rabbi was excellent and even went out of the way to help recover my vehicle after it broke down. They offered more help than I could have asked for.

The location is gorgeous, and the food was excellent. We checked out after four days at The Moorings and had a lovely stay. He tan, Jheetal and the team made us feel welcome, and our room was nice and clean. There are several good spots for an evening drink: a cafe bistro area, a cosy traditional bar, and a large outdoor decking area. We'll be back, hopefully soon!

A stunning spot overlooking Neptune's Staircase, and wonderfully welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for our group of five. The accommodation was superb for the price, though it isn't 4 star, and it wasn't priced like one. The pub meal was perfectly fine for what it cost, and breakfast was superb.
