The beach and lovely Barmouth village are both within walking distance. It’s also perfectly placed for Y promenade parkrun, Abermaw.

We were in room 6 for my partner’s 40th birthday weekend, and had a lovely time. The view is beautiful, and the hosts were attentive and genuinely lovely. Dave the dog was lovely too. We’ll definitely come back.

We loved the warm welcome from our host, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Wavecrest is just a short walk from the beach, local shops and some great cafés. The room was spotless, cosy and well kept, a lovely place to unwind after exploring the coast. Large bay windows give you gorgeous views of the sea and mountains, and the guest house is right on the seafront. It made for a peaceful stay in Barmouth, with stunning views and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

I’d booked a sea view for the wrong weekend by mistake, then called to change it, so I was grateful to get a booking at all, lol. We had a lovely room with a view of the incline over the buildings, and it was nice having a door we could open to the outside.

We had a superb couple of nights at the Wavecrest Hotel, Barmouth. The hosts were very welcoming, and our room was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. Free parking right on hand was a bonus. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
