Market

We got together for a catch-up with old primary school friends. The youngest of us was 61, lol. The staff were lovely, and the beers were excellent and very reasonably priced. There's plenty of draught ale alongside the familiar commercial options, so there's something for different tastes. I can't speak to the rooms or food, but if they match the welcome, staff and beer, you'd be onto a winner.

The rooms were spotless, great value and just right for what we needed. It's also a lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and cheap drinks. We'd definitely go back.

A proper pub with lots of seats inside and out, plus a nice choice of beers and ales. They have bike nights on Thursdays, though I don't know if that's every week. I lost my glasses there tonight. If anyone found them, please hand them in or let me know.

The Market is just right if you need somewhere to sleep after exploring the area. The room was simple, comfortable and spotless, and didn't cost much. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a great range of beer in the pub, but no food. Cottage Kitchen is only a few minutes' walk away and serves excellent food.
