The staff were what made this place feel like five stars. When I asked to move rooms because I needed a shower head, they were fantastic about sorting it out. The man at the front desk was especially helpful: he carried our luggage and moved all our things to the new room while we were rushing to catch the bus. He was a real star. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean, and breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast room is so, so beautiful too.

Our room was spotless, spacious and really comfortable, and the view of the hillsides was lovely. The photo only shows half of it, the other half had a TV and sitting area. Check-in was easy and friendly, and the whole visit felt just right. The hotel is a little outside the city centre, but you can walk in, or catch a bus from the stops right outside. We'd happily recommend it and will be back.

The big metal bathtub was the standout in our beautiful room, a fitting touch for the city of Bath. We drove to Bathen house, then took the bus into the city centre, which took about 10 minutes. Olaf at reception was helpful and kindly brought our bags up to the room. A lovely boutique hotel and a wonderful stay.

The honesty bar was a nice touch, and we enjoyed our stay overall. Breakfast didn't really do it for me, and the place could have been a little cleaner. We walked into Bath each day.

Breakfast was beyond superb, and the hotel was friendly and very well run. Our room was beautiful and worked perfectly for our family of three. It's also well placed for walking into Bath, and guests can park freely. What a gem!
