The staff were the best part of Dukes for me. Everyone was so kind, friendly and helpful throughout my stay, probably the best hotel staff I've interacted with. The room, facilities and decorations were lovely, and we had a gorgeous view and an amazing hot tub. For my wife's birthday, they even left her a HBD greeting card with a note, which was a thoughtful touch. The food was the one thing I missed. There's nothing available except breakfast, and the choices were limited, though what we had was delicious. They were flexible with our orders and accommodated everyone's requests. I also saw a staff member, whose name I wish I'd gotten, carefully arranging every dining room table the night before. It was clear how much they care. The stay was well worth the money and the most special, memorable part of my wife's birthday trip. If I visit Bath again, I'll definitely return and hope to see the same staff!

The suite was bright and spacious, with high ceilings, modern amenities and lovely views over the street. The hotel has the character of a refined mansion house, with timeless elegance that suits its surroundings. Its location was excellent, close to the main attractions while still quiet, safe and relaxing. The staff were warm, courteous and attentive throughout, and breakfast was generous, varied and delicious.

Dukes is beautifully decorated, and the attentive staff make it feel as if nothing is too much trouble. It's in a first-class spot on magnificent Great Pulteney Street, with iconic Pulteney Bridge at one end and the Wonderful Holburne Museum & Sydney Gardens at the other. A real bonus was the street map of Bath they give guests. Its QR code opens a PDF of 39 top attractions; touch a description for the location's website, or the Map URL for instant Google Maps directions. It also links to a separate Events for Bath list, with some great Events venues, Map URLs and What's on links. Brilliant, and it made getting around Bath so easy and enjoyable.

The location is second to none, close to everything, and exactly the area you want in Bath. We parked easily at the sister hotel Bird Bath, a two-minute walk away, for a very reasonable £10 per night for residents. Juan met us at reception with an amazing welcome, explained everything clearly and in a really friendly way, then showed us to The Norfolk. The room had great character, was spotless and had great facilities. After a stressful day getting there, Bath was amazing and we felt truly relaxed. We're enjoying our celebrations, and the fudge was very tasty. We'll be back in spring and again in summer. Please don't tell everyone haha! If you want a tasteful, luxurious place with a warm, friendly team, look no further. Ps very close to Bath Rugby club too!!!

Juan's service really took our stay beyond expectations. He welcomed us at check-in and helped throughout, and I can't compliment him highly enough. Our family of four all slept better than we have in any hotel before, thanks to the extremely comfortable beds. The decor is exquisite, the photos speak for themselves, and we'd let them know in advance we needed the pullout. It was all set up, with a bottle of wine too, and we wanted for nothing. Breakfast was excellent, well above standard hotel fare. We enjoyed it so much that most of our group ordered the same meal on day two. I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to friends. You're missing out if you stay anywhere else!
