The room was lovely, small but cute, and really warm and cosy when it was freezing outside. Ours was right at the top, so there were a lot of stairs to climb. That was fine for us, but worth knowing if stairs are difficult for you. We felt welcome from the start. The staff were friendly, made us hot chocolate when we asked on our first night, and kindly let us check out an hour late. Breakfast was delicious each morning and set us up for the day. The location was fab too, about a 10 minute walk from the main attractions. We had such a good stay and would definitely come back. Merry Christmas 🎄

I felt safe throughout my solo stay, and the staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The room and the rest of the décor had a charming, warm and cosy feel. Everything was close by, which made the location ideal. I didn't buy breakfast, though each morning the dining room smelled incredible, so I imagine it was delicious. I had a wonderful time and would happily stay again.

They were very flexible about storing our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was handy. The room had free bottled water and plenty of tea and coffee, and breakfast offered a good choice. Staff were friendly, and we were told booking the Thermae Spa through them could get us a discount. They also suggested a nearby parking spot that was reasonably priced. The hotel is very quiet and comfortable, around a three-minute walk from town. If you eat at The Circus Restaurant, the hotel has a voucher for a free glass of fizz.

I stopped by Edgar Townhouse to ask a few questions and the manager was friendly and really helpful. They showed me Bath City Street maps with a QR code linking to a PDF of 40 top Bath attractions, each with Google Maps directions. That was amazing. Guests were arriving while I was there, and everyone was attended to and helped straight away.

The rooms are lovely and breakfast was a good way to start the day. It's only a short way from the centre, and a great place to stay in Bath. Highly recommended.
