The hotel fits Bath's charming atmosphere, and the friendly staff make you feel welcome and are ready to accommodate guests. They go beyond expectations with little treats I'll leave you to discover. Our room was just the right size, with a comfortable bed, two pillows and an amazing shower. The central location is perfect for visiting Bath, though people walking home after a night out and early starters doing their morning duties can be heard. It wasn't too bad, and we slept well anyway. There's also a lovely honesty bar in the basement if you'd rather skip a busy night out. A 5-star hotel with 5-star staff. Thank you for spoiling us 😊

We stayed three nights in a second-floor Snug Double at the N Parade Passage location, not the one on the nearby square. The room was clean and a decent size for "Snug"; the bathroom was clean and efficient, though there was no outlet in it, and I'm not sure whether that's particular to the UK. The mattress and room temperature were very comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. We had two really delicious breakfasts, and communication before the stay was very good. For women who wear makeup, the bedroom lighting was harsh and there was no light over the bathroom sink, so I had to contort myself by the window to get natural light. Our only complaint is about noise outside the hotel. Every night, for all three nights, the underground bar across the passage was extremely loud and disruptive. After closing, the passage filled with youths yelling and cursing. We were jet lagged and really needed sleep. After the first night, we couldn't ask to move because we'd be out all two days and couldn't move our things, so we had to put up with it for three nights. It doesn't reflect on the hotel's service, cleanliness, room size, comfort or anything else about the hotel itself, and we would probably stay again. The location is very convenient to everything, which is why we'd give it 5 stars in spite of the noise. We'd definitely ask for the quietest room available in either building, away from the passage or in the other building.

The room felt so homely, with the biggest, comfiest bed, and we were delighted with a free upgrade. There was a good choice of tea, coffee and sweet treats in the room too. My partner and I stayed a few weeks ago for a few nights, and I can't fault the hotel. The location was PERFECT! I'd definitely recommend it when visiting Bath.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well decorated, and the location in Bath couldn't be better. Breakfast is made to order, with fruit and yogurt as well. The staff were lovely and so kind, always checking if you needed anything.

The townhouse was a beautiful building, and the upgraded room was large, light and immaculately clean. We were staying at eight for a show in Bath and had high hopes after reading lots of good reviews. Sadly, the bathroom radiator didn't work, so the bathroom was cold, and noise from outside spoiled the stay. On checkout morning we were woken by shouting and banging across the road, where a lorry was unloading pub supplies. Deliveries were dragged over the cobbled paths on a pallet truck. I wasn't happy and mentioned it at checkout. A staff member was extremely polite and offered a complementary breakfast, which I turned down. They said they'd speak to the venue, but there was no other compensation, which I thought was quite poor. I hoped to return in September, but after that much noise pollution I'll probably look at alternatives.
