The Bath House Apartments

I could happily live in this apartment. It was spotless, and all the small details made things easy, from labeled items and big maps showing grocery shops and their hours to umbrellas and a breakfast basket. There’s even laundry. The Roman Baths are an eight-minute walk away, and a great restaurant in the old train station is just a minute away. I wish I’d had longer here. Thanks to the owners and caretakers, I’ll be back.

Apartment 18 gave us plenty of room over two levels, two bathrooms, and lots of fresh air. Every window opened, even the one above the stairs, which was lovely in warm weather. There’s also a washer and dryer, useful if you’re travelling for weeks. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the host gave helpful instructions. We could walk to everything, with the Roman Baths less than ten minutes away, and having a dedicated parking space in Bath was a real bonus. It’s up one flight of steel stairs at the end of James Street West. They have a good railing, though some people may find them slippery in the rain. One of the best places we stayed on our UK tour.

The breakfast basket was a much appreciated extra. We stayed two nights in a clean, well-equipped apartment, close to plenty of attractions and restaurants.

The city centre is just a short walk away, and we found the staff friendly and accommodating throughout. Our room was well cared for, and there was a nice selection of breakfast items to enjoy in the room. We’ll definitely be back soon.
