The Sunday carvery was very good, with four meats to choose from and a great selection of vegetables. There are three portion sizes, which is a nice touch. We chose the small one and it was still pretty generous. Service was brilliant, friendly and efficient in just the right measure.

I went to my best friend’s wedding and had an amazing time. The staff were incredible, especially Jo and Jane. They made the day really special and made sure everything went smoothly for the couple. The hotel and cottages were lovely too. I’d recommend them 100%.

We were there for a friend’s 70th, though I didn’t stay overnight. The steak was absolutely fantastic, and the staff were great, especially Brian and Laura. Happy hour runs from 3pm till 6pm, and Guinness was about £4.50. Getting all the meals out for a big party took a while, but it wasn’t ridiculous.

We had our fabulous wedding there on Saturday, and everything was perfect. Jane, Ian and the staff looked after us so well. Cathy’s bloomers did a fantastic job decorating the room.

I took my Mother there for her birthday dinner last night after a friend recommended it. The food was excellent, and Ellie was fast, welcoming and so friendly. They even brought out a special Happy Birthday dessert plate, which made Mum’s day. We’ll be back soon.
