Sarah-Jane and Christine were incredibly kind and friendly when my mum and I visited the Art Centre. They showed us where everything was and explained the process. I had brought a fairly complex design, so we spent quite a while there, and they checked on us every few minutes to see how we were getting on and whether we needed anything. We could also buy coffee and cake from the cafe and bring it over while we painted. We loved the time there. Such a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. Thanks so much, we'll be back!

My roast beef was perfect, and the lunch was great value for money. The staff were helpful and the venue has a really relaxing setting. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had in a long time. I thoroughly recommend it.

Anne still remembered us from last year, and she was just as attentive this time. Our family Sunday lunch was proper home-style cooking, with generous servings, and the food and service were every bit as good as before. When we asked for lashings of custard with pudding, Anne brought it with a smile.

The beach is only a stone's throw away, and it's a lovely base for seeing the best of Northumberland. The staff were helpful and accommodating. It is a little pricey, though.

There’s loads to do and see here, and I’d definitely visit again. Camper vans are limited, and it costs £30 a night, but breakfast is included. There’s also a spotless shower and toilet block, plus a full kitchen with two cookers, a TV, washer and dryer, kettles, toasters and microwaves. They have a small shop, a restaurant, a kids' play area and a pottery studio for children. The staff can’t do enough for you.
