Vine Cottage at Eastleigh

We’ve stayed in lots of holiday houses and cottages, and this was the most comfortable, best equipped and highest standard one yet. The main house has six bedrooms, each with an en-suite, and has recently been fully updated. It’s a stunning property with a lovely garden and a shared games room. There are three smaller holiday lets on site as well. The BBQ hut needs a returnable deposit to use. On arrival, homemade scones with jam and cream were there for everyone.

My favourite part was the hot tub. It’s in the cottage’s private garden, so you can use it any time, day or night, and it was so relaxing. The cottage itself is lovely, cosy but spacious, with everything you could need and daily essentials ready when you arrive. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and know the area well. I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying nearby.

The Heard's have restored the property with care and furnished it tastefully. It feels like a little bit of luxury, tucked away from much of the hassle of modern life, and everything you need is laid out simply. Such a beautiful part of the world. I’d highly recommend this lovely find.
