The location is amazing, and the food was really good, easily five stars for that too. The rooms are quite good, though the beds are small singles. The Wi-Fi didn’t seem to work properly. All the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help. I’m sure I’ll return.

Breakfast is among the best I’ve had, and the parking is good. The beds are comfortable, and everything is very clean and well maintained. The place is no frills and great value. The evening menu could use more choice if you’re staying longer than a couple of nights. I’ll definitely return when I’m working in the area.

The setting in Lickey Hills Country Park is full of nature, history and walking trails, with great viewpoints in several places. It’s a little far out for public transport, though driving could make the location perfect. The food was AMAZING, the service brilliant, and the facilities were great. I liked the rooms, but the beds being singles was a surprise. There was only one towel, and the automatic lights switched off while I was showering. There’s no temperature control or fan, and the thin walls let you hear people in the corridor and doors opening and closing.

We’ll be booking our Club annual dinner here again next year. It was our second year running, and the service and three-course meal were excellent and reasonably priced. We had the dinner in the attractive dining room, then drinks in the spacious, comfortable bar. All the staff were friendly and professional, especially Jayne, the events manager, who looked after everything from start to finish and couldn’t have been more helpful. We stayed overnight too: the room was pleasant and very clean, with lovely views, everything we needed, a decent bathroom and a hot, powerful shower. The bed was really comfortable, and the included breakfast was plentiful and top notch.
