Breakfast was the low point for me. Most of the food was cold and seemed to have been sitting out for a while, and the scrambled egg was discoloured. I made some jam on toast, though, and that was lovely. The staff were nice for the most part, but it took a while to get a table cleared for us. I wouldn’t be keen to come back for breakfast. We stayed one night and otherwise had a mostly good visit. The staff were lovely when we arrived and our room was ready. It was comfortable, and we slept well, though the hallway got noisy in the morning with other guests and cleaners. We came back just before the restaurant closed, and a lovely staff member let us order. The pizza and chips weren’t very nice, but the service was quick. Check-out was easy. We packed and left a little late, and cleaners knocked to ask if we were checking out late. One friendly cleaner spoke with us before we left. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, and most staff were nice. One small thing, bring your own toothpaste. They said they sold it, but had run out.

The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, so staying here felt worth it to me. The hotel is in a nearly perfect spot, with the shopping areas and train station just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly helpful, and receptionist Jeannie was especially professional. Thanks again to the Holiday Inn staff!

Breakfast was included, which was a very welcome extra, and we’ll definitely come back. The hotel is clean, modern and lovely, with excellent value despite its location. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a large usable TV, good internet speed, an iron and ironing board, and a big bathroom.

Breakfast was disappointing, especially the food quality. The room itself was clean, comfortable and roomy enough, and from my high floor I had a great view. It’s a busy city centre hotel and well placed for evening entertainment. Check-in was quick and efficient. If you’re driving, parking costs an extra £15 and you have to register. It’s also a five-minute walk away, which wasn’t much fun in the rain.

The rooms felt a bit old, especially the bathtub. We found hair left in the bath and wrappers on the floor. Once we told reception, they acted straight away, changed our room and gave us a free upgrade. That quick help made the stay comfortable and relaxing, and is why the hospitality stood out so much. VINEETH and his colleague at reception were excellent, and the staff gave great service. Breakfast was really good too.
