Moxy Birmingham NEC and Airport

Breakfast was a highlight for us: fresh, tasty, and with plenty of different choices. The reception and bar team were quick, helpful, and ready to assist whenever we needed anything. Our room was cleaned every day and kept neat. We had a wonderful four-day stay and were very satisfied. I highly recommend this hotel.

After a flight, I had a nice night's stay here. The staff were welcoming and very informative, and I liked being able to open the windows for fresh air. The rooms are small but laid out well, with really comfortable beds and good showers. As with other Moxy hotels, I enjoy staying here, and this one is especially convenient for the airport and NEC.

The exhibition center is only about a 3 minute walk away, which makes the location ideal if you're going there. Taxis and Uber can drop you right at the entrance, though you can't park your own car directly outside the hotel. I stayed at Moxy Birmingham NEC in April 2026 and had a very pleasant time. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Rooms were clean and nice; the bathrooms are a little small, but perfectly manageable.

Breakfast had a much wider choice than we usually see: pastries, fruit, cereals, overnight oat pots, and a decent English breakfast. It was served in the relaxed bar area, which also holds the entrance and check-in, with plenty of casual seating and a cool, busy feel when we arrived. We were there for a night while attending the Motorhome Show at the NEC, which is literally on the doorstep. Our third-floor room looked over the lake and was spacious, modern, and clean, with a good-size bathroom. The staff were very friendly. There was no mini-bar, fridge, safe, or dressing gowns, though we didn't miss them. I'd gladly stay again. Marriott has done a good job of giving this a boutique feel.
