It's only open on weekends at the moment, though it should be opening more soon. When everything's finished, I can picture having a perfect coffee beside the wood burning stove. It's a lovely cafe with great coffee, amazing views, and a comfortable feel. The new owners have renovated it beautifully and are very welcoming. Thanks! Allison
After a walk in the snow, we stopped in to warm up. It's a cosy little cafe, beautifully decorated, and the new owners are lovely. Can't wait to come back for an overnight stay and some stargazing.
We visited on a freezing cold day and got a really warm welcome. The little cafe is beautiful, with gorgeous views, and the new owners are lovely. Renovations are still going on, so we'll definitely return to see how it turns out. The upstairs rooms should soon be available for stays, which will be amazing under the dark skies.
The owners are so welcoming, and they’re happy to sit and have a chat. It’s a lovely little place with high standards. I’ve started stopping in regularly on my walks for coffee and cake or a bacon sarnie. Such a good find.
After a long walk along the Waskerly railway path, we stopped outside the house/cafe for tea. The owner was tied up making hot chocolates for two children and said she’d come out in a couple of minutes, but we waited about 20 minutes. By then, roughly twenty cyclists had arrived, with dogs running around and bikes left all over the path. If you’re doing this walk, maybe take a flask.
