That’s the sort of meal you remember. My better half had the rib eye steak, every bit as good as my fresh lamb’s liver, cooked superbly. The owner-chef said the lamb came from a field across the road. We finished with chocolate mousse and homemade ice cream, alongside well-kept Otter Ale. The Normandy Arms really deserves to succeed. The chef is top notch and spoke passionately about cooking everything fresh and sourcing ingredients as locally as possible. We’ve just been for lunch there.
