My mum had such a good time that she didn't want her stay to end. The BnB was clean and nice, with a fabulous location. The family were absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. She'll definitely return and highly recommends staying here. Thanks for making her stay so great 😁

I was asked to pay in cash or by bank transfer on arrival because the card machine supposedly wasn't working, and they also wanted a £25 deposit. It feels like a way to get around booking-site protections and take extra money from legitimate guests. The deposit still hasn't been returned, despite several requests after checkout, and there was no damage to the otherwise excellent room. I'm still being ignored. Don't book direct. I'll update my reviews across multiple sites if I get the deposit back or even an acknowledgment.

My dad asked the owner for an extra blanket because the quilt was very thin, and he wasn't happy about it. The bedroom bathroom door wouldn't open properly, and it smelled bad. The bathroom wasn't clean or tidy, and there was no toilet roll. We stayed from the 18th to the 21st of September. Checkout was at 10 o'clock on the 21st, but most hotels or guesthouses allow until 12. We were charged an extra £20 to stay until 11. Very bad experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here again.

The hotel was right in the centre, so everything was within walking distance. I stayed for one night with my partner. The owners were friendly and made us feel comfortable. Our standard double room was small, as I expected, but clean, with fresh bedding, tea, coffee and clean towels. We’d stay again.
