The location near Blackpool’s South Pier is a real plus, and the bed was very comfortable and clean, so we slept well both nights. The room did have decoration problems, including a hole and peeling wallpaper on the ceiling, and the lighting made it hard to use the kettle after dark. The shower couldn’t be used because the bathroom sink seemed blocked and made foam rise in the shower. There were also signs of the previous guest, with hair in the shower drain and heavy discoloration on the tap. We had a confusing arrival. The host was friendly, but at first seemed unaware of our booking even after we gave the reservation details and name, which surprised me at a small hotel. We liked the coffee selection, and she had put out a baby chair for us in the morning. We’d thought breakfast included cooked food as well as cereal, but cooked breakfast costs extra. The room needs serious work, and the appliances are due for inspection, with their last test in 2023.

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The hosts were very hospitable and always ready to help, and the clean rooms and comfortable beds made for good sleep. There’s a dining room where you can bring in food, with plates and cutlery available. It’s a little hotel away from Blackpool’s busy centre, with a tram stop nearby and the pleasure beach close by. It’s also kid friendly, and the continental breakfast has a good choice.

This was my second stay, and it’s still my favourite place to stay when I visit Blackpool. The rooms have always been clean, fresh and nicely presented. The staff are welcoming and understanding, especially about individual needs like mine as someone with autism. Thanks so much for your kind hospitality. You’re all amazing, and we’ll definitely be back :) x

The continental breakfast turned out to have plenty of options, and the owner kept checking on guests and topping things up. I’d been a little disappointed when I realised it wasn’t the full English I’d assumed was included, but I was more than happy with what we got. For the price, I’d say they undercharge. The hotel was spotless, and the owner was friendly and happy to help. Our room was what you’d expect, and actually better than I’d anticipated for the money. The location was fantastic for our weekend away: the tram stop is two minutes away and the train station is a five minute walk, so everything was easy to reach. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I’ll recommend the hotel to anyone.
